Harmonization of compound management activities

With the acquisition of Specs and FSI, eMolecules onboarded decades of experience in compound management services to the life sciences industry.  This expertise in weighing and plating collections of small molecules in nearly every storage and distribution format, brought added sustainable value to the drug discovery process of numerous biotechnology and (top 10 global) pharmaceutical companies and can be performed at our sites in the United States and Europe.

Any collection of small molecules, from small sets of compounds to entire multi-million member screening libraries are routinely processed to prepare assay-ready 96-, 384- or 1536-well plates utilizing state of the art liquid handlers.  With the use of an array of Echo Liquid Handlers, multiple copies of existing source plates are accurately aliquoted into assay-ready plates in nanoliter volumes.  This allows for direct transfer of compounds, reducing the need for intermediate plates and multiple dilution steps, and produces more accurate results in less time. This touchless technology eliminates the risk of cross-contamination, washing cycles, consumable tips and tubes, and solvent costs, thus greatly reducing the carbon footprint of the entire process.

These reformatted libraries show uniformity for the respective content, all according to your requirements and specifications, ensuring faster and more effective access to your compound repository.

Proven track record references for several on- and offsite reformatting projects, are available on request.
